NewGel+ Anchors for Breast Scars Beige - NG-126

NewGel+ is specially formulated 100% medical grade silicone gel sheeting proven to reduce, flatten, fade and smooth scars – both old and new. It is self-adhesive and worn directly on the scar. It is available in both clear and beige backings. The clear is more flexible and the beige is more durable.

Breast surgeries may result in circular, vertical, and/or curved scars. Unlike many pharmacy brands of silicone gel sheets,  rectangles will not easily cover the curves and contours of these types of scars. NewGel+areola circles, lollypops, and anchors are specially designed to meet the needs of any cosmetic breast surgery--augmentation, lift (mastopexy), or reduction mammoplasty. The anchors with vertical tabs trimmed off are ideal for curved FTM top surgery scars.

Anchors are designed for curved scars under the breast (inframamary crease) resulting from breast lift (mastopexy) or breast reduction. They are also ideal for curved scars resulting from FTM top surgery,

• offer a safe, effective, non-invasive method to manage and improve scars in the natural fold around the base of the breast and up the vertical scar. They can be worn under a post-op bra or a standard bra.
• work through a combination of occlusion (seals the scar from exposure to air/bacteria), hydration, elevated skin temperature and continuous light pressure.
