Polybalm is designed to prevent chemotherapy induced damage to the nail bed. Disfiguring nail damage including brittle nails, split nails or weak nails is common during and after chemotherapy. Polybalm is the only product clinically proven to profoundly reduce chemotherapy nail damage. Nail damage can be unsightly and contributes to body image issues but also to more serious consequences including pain.

How To Use: You only need to massage a small amount of Polybalm® around each fingernail and toenail 2-3 times a day paying special attention to the cuticle for it to be effective throughout your chemotherapy. For the best results you should use Polybalm® a few days prior to your chemotherapy starting.

The early indicators of chemotherapy nail damage are a tingling sensation under the nail, mild pain and the beginning of nail ridges. Early pain is more likely to occur in toenails than fingernails due to the pressure of standing and walking. Start using Polybalm® immediately to minimise the risk of further problems and even reverse them.

Polybalm is named after a National UK Scientific study and is short for polyphenol rich natural balm. It was designed by an expert panel of oncologists and dermatologists together with cosmetic, biological and natural scientists in conjunction with the UK National Cancer Research Institute’s lifestyle and behavioural change committee. The Polybalm website has more information on the scientific study and trial as well as the benefits of using Polybalm.

Little expensive

It’s a little expensive considering the size. As we need to use it constantly it can be very expensive

Polybalm works

I used Polybalm throughout my chemotherapy treatment, in my finger nails I had no deterioration of my nails and in fact my nail are much stronger than prior to chemotherapy.
I also used it on my toenails, one toenail started to turn black at the end of my chemotherapy, I realized I had not been diligent applying polybalm to my toenails. I increased polybalm usage on the black toenail and the blackness grew out and that toenail still remains healthy and strong. All my finger nails and toenails continue to be healthy and strong from using Polybalm. I highly recommend Polyblam

I was in despair about my prosthesis and bras and the pain they were causing. Before I visited Genevieve,  I had seriously considered having my remaining healthy breast removed so I never had to wear a bra again.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Genevieve for getting me into a lightweight, well fitting breast form that was right for my body, as well as some comfortable and stylish bras and tops.

Dear Genevieve, I would like to thank you as you have made an enormous difference to my lifestyle. For the first time in 8 years I feel comfortable with my bra and prosthesis. My shoulder straps don’t fall down and the bra doesn’t hurt me any more. I have tried many other places but they don’t have the range or the understanding you offer. So thank you for your thoughtfulness and understanding of my problems.

Following my preventative mastectomy and reconstruction I was wearing a department store bought post-surgical bra which was proving to be highly uncomfortable and providing minimal support. Genevieve fitted me with a Lipoelastic Post Surgery Compression bra and straight away I was comfortable, I had the support I needed and no more pain from the bra. I will definitely be seeing her again later in my recovery for further fittings and bras. I simply can't recommend her enough, she is so professional, caring and knowledgeable. Thank you.

Genevieve was welcoming, friendly and understanding.  She selected from a wide range of brands and styles for fit, comfort and my lifestyle. The consolation in the pleasant, private studio at her home was a great alternative to a lingerie shop experience.  Thank you.
