It addresses the specific needs of women with lymphoeodema, post-surgical discomfort, and post-radiation edema and/or fibrosis as it provides:
Gentle compression all around the torso, while directing lymphatic load to an alternate functional pathway
Simplifies the use of speciality pads to address specific areas of breast and chest wall fibrosis
Ready to wear, with both a front zipper for easy donning and a variable position back closure
can be worn comfortably day and night, soft to the skin and smooth while sleeping and unobtrusive under clothing
Adjustable, comfortable and easy to wear
Fabric: Polyester, Nylon, & Spandex
Sizing Notes: When measuring, it is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often this is found first thing in the morning or at the end of a treatment.
TheAxilla Pad was created in response to a request by a breast surgeon looking for a "tapeless solution" immediately following axillary node dissection. The flat channeled pad is placed against the chest wall and held in place by aBellisse® post surgery bra.
Sizing is based on widest bicep measurement: Small/Medium (30-38cm), Large/XLarge (38-46cm)
Fabric: Polartec® Power Dry® with an elastic band (containing latex).
The Post-Lumpectomy Pad has posterior extension to help address swelling and/or radiation fibrosis over an affected breast and serratus anterior. This pad covers the affected breast completely and extends to the spine.
